Ground Game Neon Boxing Hand Wraps 4 m – support that lasts the whole session
The wraps from the Ground Game Neon line are the piece of kit you only think about when you've forgotten them. Four metres of tape brace the wrist, bind the metacarpals together and keep your fist compact on every bag shot and pad round. The line comes in several variants, so you can match it to the rest of your gear.
The detail that matters is the wide, flat hook-and-loop closure. It doesn't sit on the edge like on cheap wraps, it grips across the full surface – so it won't peel open mid-round and force you to stop. The Knockout Game jacquard label also tells you where the wrap starts without unrolling the whole thing.
The hard-wearing polyester blend has deliberately minimal stretch. Sounds like a detail, but it's the difference between a wrap that loosens after two rounds and one that holds for the full session. Pliable enough to follow the anatomy of your hand, firm enough to keep its shape after dozens of washes.
Four metres is the universal adult standard. It's enough to fully cover the wrist, the thumb and each knuckle individually – with the classic method or the Thai wrap. Bonus: the wrap soaks up sweat before it reaches your gloves, which noticeably extends glove life.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Isn't 4 metres too much under a glove?
No. Four metres is the recommended adult length and it's exactly what you need to cover the wrist, the thumb and each knuckle separately. Shorter wraps force you to choose what you protect. With smaller hands you simply add one extra pass around the wrist and finish as usual.
How do I know my wraps are tight enough?
Make a fist – the wrap should tighten and hold the hand together. With the hand open, nothing should press, and your fingers need to stay warm with normal circulation. Tingling or pale fingertips mean it's too tight. The most common mistake is over-tightening the wrist and leaving the rest loose; the tension should be even throughout.
How many pairs of wraps do I actually need?
Training twice a week, one pair is fine. From three sessions a week, two pairs are worth it – wraps need to dry fully between sessions, and putting on a damp pair means odour and faster wear. Three pairs is typical for people who train daily and only do laundry once a week.
Classic wraps or gel inner gloves?
Gel quick wraps go on faster and are fine for short fitness boxing sessions. A classic 4 m wrap gives you something gel can't: you decide where and how much support you get. Wrist, knuckles and thumb tightened exactly to your hand. If you train regularly and spar, the classic wrap is the obvious call.
