Ground Game Kids BJJ Belt

The Ground Game Kids BJJ Belt is designed for the youngest Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioners progressing through the children's belt system. Quality cotton construction ensures durability even with regular training on the mat.

The belt is made from 100% cotton with sufficient thickness for a firm knot. The special black panel provides space for badges (stripes) marking the child's technical progress.

Available lengths are sized to fit children's gi sizes K1 through K7/K8, making it easy to find the right option for your young fighter's build and gi.

Please note: The patch design may vary depending on the production batch.

How to choose the right length?

We recommend choosing the belt size based on the gi size – for example K1 with a K1 gi, K3–K4 with a K3 or K4 gi. A properly sized belt wraps twice around the waist and after tying the knot both ends hang freely to approximately mid-thigh.

Frequently Asked Questions

What material is the belt made from?

The belt is made from 100% cotton with a special black panel for badges (stripes).

What does a colored belt mean in kids BJJ?

Children in BJJ follow their own belt system, separate from the adult system. The belt color reflects the young athlete's technical progress – starting with white and moving through grey, yellow, orange and up to green.

How do I choose the right belt length?

Choose based on gi size. K1 belt (200 cm) for a K1 gi, K3–K4 (230 cm) for a K3 or K4 gi. After tying, the ends should hang freely but not reach the knees.

Is the belt only suitable for BJJ?

It is primarily designed for Brazilian jiu jitsu but can also be used in other martial arts with a similar belt ranking system, such as judo.
