Fairtex HGK15 – kids head guard for boxing and Muay Thai

The Fairtex HGK15 head guard is built specifically for children aged 6 to 12. Made from lightweight microfiber with thick padding across the forehead, cheeks and chin – maximum protection without overloading young necks. The open design delivers wide peripheral vision including diagonal directions, eliminating common blind spots.

The combination of velcro and lace-up closure allows precise adjustment even for smaller heads. The ergonomic inner lining minimises skin irritation and ensures ventilation. Suitable for boxing, Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size?

Thai sizing may run smaller than you're used to. If your child is between two age groups, always choose the larger size – the guard should fit firmly without pressing or slipping.

What age is the HGK15 suitable for?

The HGK15 is designed for children aged 6 to 12 in three sizes. For older children or those who have outgrown the category, we recommend transitioning to an adult model such as the HG9 or HG3.

Why does the HGK15 have an open design?

The open design provides wide peripheral and diagonal vision, eliminating common blind spots. Children train without restricted visibility and do not develop bad movement habits.
