The Adidas Hybrid 25 boxing gloves are designed for beginners and intermediate athletes who want a balanced combination of protection, comfort and durability. They effectively absorb impact, stabilise the wrist and, thanks to the combination of synthetic leather and breathable MESH material, offer excellent ventilation even during longer training sessions.

The classic semi-rounded shape, multilayer latex/foam padding and wide Velcro strap make them an ideal glove for boxing, kickboxing and fitness training.

How do I choose the right boxing glove size?

Select the size based on the athlete’s weight, training style and intensity. For children or light training choose 6–8 oz, for standard training 10–12 oz, and for sparring 14 oz or more.

Are Adidas Hybrid 25 gloves suitable for sparring?

The Hybrid 25 model is designed mainly for training, bag work and beginners. For intense sparring a larger size or higher-end model is recommended.

Are they suitable for kickboxing or MMA?

Yes – thanks to their construction and joint protection they are suitable for kickboxing and recreational MMA training, but not for professional competition.

Purpose: Boxing gloves protect your hands during combat sports training and help absorb impact from strikes. They are designed to keep both you and your sparring partner safe.

Proper use: Each type of glove has a specific purpose. Sparring gloves are intended only for partner training — they have thicker padding and larger volume. Bag gloves are designed exclusively for punching bags or focus mitts. Universal gloves can be used for both, but with some compromises in durability.

Using gloves outside their intended purpose — such as hitting a heavy bag with sparring gloves — leads to faster wear and tear. Damage caused by improper use is not covered under warranty. Likewise, using gloves for strength exercises (like push-ups) can deform the structure and cause internal damage.

Choosing the right size: Most boxing gloves are labeled by weight in ounces (oz), which indicates the amount of padding — the higher the number, the more protection. Some models may also use standard clothing sizes (S, M, L). The internal fit can vary by brand — if you use hand wraps or inner gloves, you may need a slightly larger size. Always refer to the size chart on the product page.

Care and maintenance: After training, wipe the gloves clean with a damp cloth and let them dry fully at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not wash or soak them. For longer glove life, store them in a dry, well-ventilated place and always use hand wraps or inner liners.

Product care

We provide a 3-month warranty on the personalisation from the date of delivery.
Proper care is essential – moisture and sweat salts may cause gradual peeling of the print.
After training, allow the product to air-dry; do not dry on direct heat sources or in a tumble dryer.
Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated place.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Following these instructions helps preserve the quality of the print and extends the product’s lifespan.
